German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs

Spark was asked by the agency Scholz & Friends to find suitable music for an online video by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs. The ad was about making Germany ready for an economic re-start after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Spark suggested various German speaking songs with Mark Forsters’ ‘Choere’ chosen due its uplifting and very recognisable melody. The ad started off with noises from industry, offices and everyday life forming the rhythm of the song before the rest of the original song came in.

Spark carried out a music search and negotiations with Mark Forster, his record company and music publishers in regards to fees and licensing agreements.
