Rights Clearances and Exclusive Remix for Longines

Longines, the luxury watch maker from Switzerland, asked Spark to do a music search and clear the music rights for their new ad ‘Elegance is an Attitude’ featuring American actress Jennifer Lawrence and the Longines Dolcevita watch.

COLD COFFEE by Canadian pianist/composer Galt MacDermot from 1966 made the cut. MacDermot is probably best known as the writer of the soundtrack for the iconic “Age of Aquarius” musical ‘Hair’.

Spark negotiated the fees for master & publishing rights and agreements on behalf of Longines.

We also worked with an American music producer to create 3 different directions for an exclusive remix. Once agreed on the direction the remix was fine tuned and edits in various lengths with separate stems created.
